We're Foundations Matter (Scotland’s branch of Cornerstone UK) - the Christian charity dedicated to adoption and fostering.
Rooted in faith, we walk with families from the very beginning, offering prayerful, practical care and community. We believe every child is uniquely created by God, worthy of love, stability and hope. Together, we build strong foundations where children can begin to feel safe, grow in confidence, and flourish into all God has created them to be.
We are a newly established fostering agency in Scotland building on our longstanding and successful service in England. For the past 25 years, Cornerstone has offered homes to children in the care of Local Authorities and is the only Christian Fostering Agency in the UK. Spurred on by our shared faith, we are an agency that is committed to providing temporary and where possible permanent families for children of any background.
Our vision to grow in Scotland is shaped by The Promise — Scotland’s commitment to listen to children and ensure they grow up safe, respected, and cherished. We share this vision wholeheartedly, believing that every child deserves to belong, to flourish, and to be supported in becoming all they are created to be.
